Hello!

If anyone can help me out. I'm looking for a good voice processor, and I'm not really familiar wich are the good ones.

I need it for live, on stage playing clarinet and saxophone.

I was checking out TC Helicon vocal processors, they have a few of them, so if anyone could help me out a little.

Should I go for the VoicePro, or are others, less expensive good enough?

Helicon products seems to be in first place for vocal processing, but I gues it can be nicely used with acoustic instruments too?

Are there any other sound - voice - vocal processors worth checking out for arround 500$ - 1000$ ?

TNX a lot!

You're on the right track. T.C. Helicon is nice gear. For the price they are hard to beat. Uless you want to spend the big bucks and get an Eventide, then you can do all those Def Lepard harmonies.

Well, I'm glad I'm on a right track! :)

But I'm just wondering, with all the products TC Helion has, I just don't know which one I really need.

I'm looking for a vocal processor with a good reverb/delay ... and some good effects that are being used in today's music industry.

So, can you give me any directions?

Well, if you just need an effects unit for adding reverb and such to instruments (And vocals, too), then check out the m-one processor that TC makes. I believe it's a lot cheaper than the vocal processors. If you're not really going to use the unit for the special vocal goodies (pitch correction, thickening, and automatic harmonizing), something like the m-one would probably serve you much better for the price.

Agreed IF you're not looking for the more involved effects/harmonies. But if you are looking for a real time harmonizer TC-Helicon VoiceLive is hard to beat. Unbelievably, my wife and I won this unit in the drawing at the TC booth at the NAMM show this year. Real time harmonies in a floor unit with eight footswitches, and the possibility of adding four harmonies to the lead singer. WAY COOL....

I agree, VoiceLive is a wonderful machine which are capable of producing really great sounding lead vocals (pitch corrected) and harmonies.

It's worth the money for the pitch correction alone ;-)

I've a forum dedicated to users of VoiceLive. Feel free to contribute.
