I need to find a cheap set of headphones that will block out as much background noise as possible. Here are my guidelines...

1. Price - Under $50 (the cheaper the better)

2. Sound Quality - Does not matter at all

3. Noise Block-out - As much as possible

4. Built in metronome - absolutly not

5. volume - loud enough to hear over drumming

ideas?

so...does anyone think...that...in their humble opinion...if i bought these little ear-bud things...and used like...those huge ear muff things that people use when shooting guns and put them over top of these that for once our drummer could hear the dang metronome??

Nothing touches The Plugs for the price. The next level up is Sony Fontopia-around $50(MDR-EX71 or 81?)
Either should suit your purposes.
