I read alot of threads, and i learn things that help..
And recently I found my self in a ditch with EQ and this site/members were there to save me.

Jan 04, 2005 04:04 pm 'Agreed'...I second the 'Thank You' to HRC and 'You're Welcome'...all in one...
Jan 04, 2005 07:33 pm I know for us RobertJ...there was no looking back once we found HRC...agree with you wholeheartedly.
And I'll say once again what a great community HRC was when we started and remains so.
Cheers and good luck with your recordings,

It's worth it just for the laughs - let alone the recording tips!

Nice.

Jan 14, 2005 10:12 am "I'll sing you a song with no words, and no tune. To sing in your khazi while you suss out the moon..."
- Small Faces
They also used the word "sussed" again on Ogden's Nut Gone Flake "John had it sussed..."
Classic stuff. I used to go and see Steve Marriott with his band ["Packet of Three"] in a pub in London (Putney). Some of the loudest, most drunken, crowded gigs I've ever attended. He'd play "30 days in the hole" and the place would go crazy! He fell asleep at his house with a cigarette burning, and burned his house down while he was still inside. I miss him.

Jan 14, 2005 11:53 pm TallChap, that is probably one of my all time favorite tunes from those days. I love the fact they just started the tape rolling and kept the entire bit in the intro to that tune. Its a pity Frampton didnt stay on to enjoy those days, although he found his own success. Small faces and Humble Pie were 2 of the coolest bands to emerge from those days. I was blessed enough to see them both live in their hayday's.
That was also one of my favorite tunes to play live in the day.
