Great guitar work! Overall volume needs to be boosted...I had to turn the volume way up to hear it. Other than that, nothing but good to say about it! That's a great little song! Keep up the good work!

That seems to be a big problem. They tell me thats what mastering will do, or is it compression. I've asked around and can't seem to get a proper answer and if I did, I guess I didn't understand. I don't know. But I really wish I could fix that problem.

Yes, mastering can take care of that. But also, make sure you are recording hot enough during tracking. In Cool Edit Pro I use the Sony Wave Hammer plug-in, which seems to be a combination Compressor and Volume Maximizer.

I still love the song (I just listened again!)

Thanks Jim. I record at the level of just peaking. So I just need to throw it in my WaveLab and master it huh?

thats about the size of it, then listen on as many different speakers as poss, adjust, rinse, repeat etc etc etc until it sounds amazing!

Your acoustic and singing reminds me of glen hansard of the Frames

Good new mix on that, chief. Relaxing item with a bit of paranoia hanging around the edges (or at least that's what I heard). Good combination of instruments and volumes and tones.

Like it significantly.

The new version sounds a lot better to my ears! I just did an A-B with both of them, and there is no comparison. Nice work, butt-wiggler.

Triprolo, this is a great song. I may want to use it next time they ask me to sing in church!

Awesome song Triprolo. Excellent vocal work and music. I just listened to both versions and the new version does indeed have a better sound to it.

Great song!
