Dec 16, 2004 10:08 am I do basically the same thing with my roominator kit corner fills... huge difference...makes location recording somewhat predictable :) I use 2 corner fills at 90 degree angle to eachother (touching) and an NT1 inside... or just one with the NT1 right next to the foam.

Dec 16, 2004 10:28 am They can also be found at any open mic bar. They put them on the floor just behind the singer for singers that fall down alot.
Dec 16, 2004 10:30 am I remember a band or two I was in where the singer did...sheesh...

Dec 16, 2004 10:40 am This is probably too long a story to realy convey the humor in it but:
We did a recording gig at our director's home. He sets up a platform over his lap pool. Had the pool covered with a blue tarp. A new trombone player, some doctor, comes in all nervous, steps right off the platform and sinks to his chest, all the time keeping his bone in the air over his head. Had no idea he was over water. Just stood there for the longest time with his mouth hanging open, bone over-head, eyes scanning the group for some answer to his yet to be understood epifony.

Dec 19, 2004 11:40 pm Jason, I use Auralex stuff and love it. Best I have found to do the job, and it looks better then the old charcoal gray crap. The kit you are looking at woks great, I made my own but would suggest using theirs as the foam is much denser and works better then what I have.
