ADAT Cards

I just bought a Yamaha o1v with ADAT i/o off ebay because I was looking for a way to record 8 inputs onto my computer at once. I also have a Delta 66 omni-studio which I was using, but I needed more inputs. However, I do not have an ADAT card on my computer. I've read some forums and noticed many people are using a Terratec card with it. Are there any other options and ifso what are their advantages?

thanks,
james

I may be mistaken, but I thought the digital ins on the Delta 66 would accept ADAT info. Am I smoking crack?

Yeah, I think you are smoking crack, I think it's only a stereo S/PDIF input. The S/PDIF standard is only two channels of info.
