EMU 1820M vs. EMU 1820

Hi All. There's a post on another forum that said the EMU 1820 has the same converters as a Creative Labs Audigy 2 Z5.

I don't know what that means. Is the EMU 1820 still a decent card to use with Sonar 9 Pro Edition?

What's the main difference between EMU-M and EMU sans 'M' ??

Thanks for any feedback. I guess the 'M-less' one is a 100 bucks cheaper. Thanks!

Go here and read the .pdf to see the differences:
www.emu.com/products/prod...54&nav=data

Looks like a nice card...they boast that it uses the same A/D converters used in ProTools rigs.

Hi Bitter Buffalo...

From what i could see, only the 1820M boasts having the same converters as protools.

The 1820 just says it's a good interface. I hope so!

Thanks for your feedback!
