New song just blew my mind

Holy crap. I just found a new song over the internet that just completely rerouted the wires in my brain. It's standard but well done conscious hip hop verses, but the beat is some new agey/trancy sampled beat that sounded like it was put together with an mpc. It's really unlike any beat I have heard rapped over before. Just one of those things that me jump out of my chair and run around the house yelling holy crap, thats the ****!

If anyone wants to see what moves me:

Sweet. This site is hard to navigate, but finally was able to find a random track to try. Here's the one I went with. I like it.

Though overall, I think I was mainly blown away by the other track because of the way it was sampled and rapped over. But I definitely like to listen to some nice electronica here and there.

Its a good song....

The sped-up "chipmunk" REM 'Losing My Religon' verse could be seen as a nice touch....

Whoa, dead on with the REM thing Jason. I heard it in the first piano riff, then the vocal bits are just sampled and twisted, I could pick it right out. I hope he got permision to use it. But doan straight track for sure.

coolo, indeed that is awesome use and making it sound all new agey. I can turn you onto some of the most amazing stuff you could rap over. Search out some Enigma if you want to here some original out of this world beats and chanting.

Also checked out the em411 stuff, pretty cool. I am a memeber at both so I listen to alot of the stuff there.

dog it. You're right. I'm a bit befuddled that I wasn't able to hear that REM sample. Though I probably haven't heard that song since 1989 or whenever it came out, when I was still listening to Casey Casum. Being honest, I'm pretty sure whoever made the beat did not get permission (99% positive). I will check out some Enigma for sure and let you know what I think.
