Always a fun topic to hit on...
I'm not talking about quality and all this surround stuff...I am talking COMPOSITION folks...I have so much video game music because there is so much "game music" out there that is good...
Some of my favs...
DKC 2
Perfect Dark
Eternal Darkness
Hitman 2
Hitman Contracts
I think this form of composition is often overlooked

Oct 19, 2004 10:29 am Noize has done some of that type of work before...dude like him are built for such work. Some of it is very very cool, emotion invoking stuff.
That said, it's still copyrighted music that is illegal to download...

Oct 19, 2004 10:51 am The Advantage play nothing but music from video games. Personally I like faxanado (probably mispelled)

Oct 20, 2004 11:44 am I am still in love with the soundtrack albums to Myst and Riven, albeit probably for different reasons than these others have been brought up.

Oct 20, 2004 09:54 pm Bleak, Unreal is a whole nother ballgame. The Unreal series contains so much more then just a sound track. There are so many layers of audio in that game I lost count. May I ask which is your favorite arena? Several years went into not only the game's but the sound tracks as well.
Sirrus, I am familier with Myst, and indeed the audio there is very good. I will have to pay some attention to Riven as I have not yet really delved into that one.
