The first inaugural New York Audio Production Show will premiere at Madison Square Garden on January 30 - February 1, 2003, 3 weeks prior to the Grammys.

Chaired by Mix's journalist, Paul Verna, the 12 Keynote sessions are open, free to all attendees. Topics discussed include:

The Pro Tools Conference, chaired by Ben Kozuch, President of Future Media Concepts, a Digidesign certified instructor, offers 13 tech sessions for those using Pro Tools 5.5 and the new 6.0 for music and for post-production. The music track includes advanced music editing, MIDI tools and techniques, advanced mixing, control surfaces and surround for music. The Post-Production track discusses advanced file formats, advanced post editing, advanced mixing, synchronization, machine control, digital picture integration with AVoptionXL, control surfaces and surround for post.

Well then Gus, if you go you will have to let the rest of us who could not attend know how it was. You could even be the HRC reporter on the go. I would be guessing that thye are going to be distributing a ton of info there. Maybe not as big as NAMM, but all good just the same.

I'll be there. I'll pass on all the info I can get my rough hands on. I've never been to NAMM. Have you? I hear its nice.

NAMM is the greatest experiance for a gear junkie like myself. It is also one of the best place's to learn about alot of the software and gear there is out there. You can talk to the manufacturer's directly and learn quite a bit. I have been to NAMM 3 time's, and every time I never managed to get through everything in 2 day's. If you ever get the chance to go it is a must.

Ya, when the show is on the west coast again. Like maybe . . . . . . . . . . LA!

Or wherever, I would go again in a heartbeat. Anybody else wanna go, I will get the schedule for the winter NAMM show and find out were it is going to be.

Hey dB, maybe we can get Ben to send us as consultant's for MGR!!!!!!!
