I just saw this artile posted by dB and was excited to check it out since I own B4, I would love to have a matching hardware controller to it. The controller allows the use of drawbars as well as other buttons and junk to control presets and settings. So excited as I was, i'm not going to pay $450 when the software only cost $235! Not to meantion my Radium 61 midiman keyboard controls B4 VERY well and only cost be a little under $200. Stupid and dissapointing. Bah.

MiniMOOG's are a different species. B4 is a softsynth for your PC that emulates the Hammond B3 Tonewheel organ (quite well too). MiniMOOG's are analog synths. Amazing synths. You probably could get one for $500, but I doubt it would be in good, working condition. I've seen them on Ebay for like $1500 - $2500+ If I had the money I'd get one. Until then, N.I.'s FM57 will do ;)

Albert, when you make the switch to Sonar 3 you will have one of the heavy hitters for analogue synth in a DXi. And might I suggest Tassman v.4, That thing is one of my favorite toys.

So before I left for work today (I ended up being 15 minutes late because of it..opps!) I downloaded the demo version of Lounge Lizard. I have to say that it has a great reproduction sound of a Rhodes Piano! I have been looking for one and this may get the job done. I would like to try Native Instrument's "Elektrik Piano" which is sampled based, the demo mp3 files sound really good. Until then, Lounge Lizard is my new favorite toy! Thanks Noize!

...I'll be trying out Tassman after work ;)
