I updated "Rain Down". Check it out and let me know what you think! Good or bad, I need the critique. Christian natured song, so I don't know if you call this a warning or not?

Dude, it sounds really good. The vocals get stronger in the end. Maybe in the beginning the vocals need a double track or something to fill it. Otherwise, it sounds damn good.

Thanks FunkDadyP!

I'll probably bring it up at the beginning because I like it strong overall and then adjust it from there. The guitar does the same thing, gets alot louder when he is strumming hard in the chorus. Thanks for input, helps out a lot!

Sounds great all the way through. The song keeps me interested as well. Excellent playing. The vocals did get a little loud at the end. Also, the snare sounded a little boxy, kinda fluppy to me... I am hearing on a pc speaker, but it sounds like it might use some more high end and maybe notch the lows and mids a touch.

cool song, the chord progressions are great. and rain is sure what we have in pa. jesus, so much rain lol keep up the good work. maybe boost the mids on the kick drum to give it some more kick or punch. and some more high end on the snare. otherwise nice job!

vdale,

Great song! I am a casual listener of this genre, and it's as good as anything I have heard. (My wife is a more than casual listener, and she gives it a thumbs up too!)

Big sound, and your vocals are awesome. Keep up the good work!

Jim

I found my problem here and my problem overall in my mixes. My compression is set wrong. Now the snare is popping and the kick is rocking!! I feel like an idiot but I guess this is how you learn. So, last night my guitar player redid some stuff in the song and I'm excited about his new parts, lively it up a bit. So, I got to remix it and I'll resubmit it.
