I wanna get all your opinions on a logo. We just finished doing the new logo for Pith Records, and I'm pretty happy with it - but, whaddaya all think?

We're gunna have it on stickers and stuff - recon it looks okay? Would you buy a t-shirt with that on the front? or a sticker or whatever?

Nice logo Willum. And for the record, the first impression I got was bagpipes..but that is wayyyy cool - its nae bad thing I can tell yi.
I'll tell yi this. There's nae many instruments like the bagpipes in this world. They can be heard FOR MILES and require NAE AMPS - FANTASTIC!
You can play a song on yer todd with them and they sound great every time as long as yi tune them properly. They are fantastic - I wished I learned them when I had the chance.
There's NOWT better than hearing a real Scots pipe band playing Flower O Scotland or some other "back o the neck hair raiser".
So, your logo is very cool to me. I wish I had a logo like that - it'd suit me just fine.
And, I wid buy a t-shirt from yi!

Bagpipes rock man. I tell yi this - If I wisny so dogone lazy I'd get off ma lazy butt and learn those pipes - they are way cool man.
Here's some info on pipes...Do you know a full set of Highland Bagpipes cost around £2500 for half decent ones. Thats about $5000!! That is worth more than all my guitars (Fender, Epi, etc) and ma whole studio put together. Still, at least yi dinny need an amp for the pipes...I've thought aboot this all day - I CANNOT think of a single louder instrument..only prob is that its all in the key of bloody A!!!

Naw Flame, a gong is naewhere near as loud as the pipes. I tell yi - I heard one playing 1/2 mile up the road the other day - JUST ONE GUY!! At a carnival thingy...

You are right about the sound of the bagpipes being able to travel.
I awoke to the sound of bagpipes playing at the crack of dawn about a month ago. I walked the neighbourhood for hours, shotgun in hand but I never found the bugger.

I would definately stick with that one as it would draw much attention as peep's try to figure out exactly what it is.
A heart made from a monster bagpipe, or a bagpipe made from a monster metal heart? Either way it is pretty damn kool lookin if ya ask me.
And indeed I must agree on the bagpipe bein at or near the top of the list for the loudest non-amplified instrument. Now bell like a horn to broadcast the sound further or louder, just them wee little pipes. Sor its size it sureley has got to be the loudest wind instrument for sure.
And indeed I gotta agree bagpipes in a rock tune are awsome. If ya never seen Jonathon from Korn play em live ya aint seen nothin!!!
