dag, I posted this earlier today, but it seems that the thread was erased. Hmmm. Anyways, I have a new track by my group vox machina, and I would like some input on the mix. It has yet to be mastered, and I will probably do a bit more tweaking, so any input is very appreciated. I'm trying to get this sounding as pro as possible. It's under Pro members music in the hip hop category, titled "inspiration". Or you can find it on my profile music page here.

thanks for listening and any comments.

I posted to your original thread coolo, and it disappeared. I searched for it found it again reposted and it was showing. Must have disappeared again when someone else tried to leave a post.

The auto logouts are happening to me as well again. Doesn't happen anywhere else, only here.

nope, two entries were invalid in that thread, meaning the userid was "0" rather than the real ID of the user. If tyhere is no relatioship bewtween the userid and an existing user record the thread is gonzoes.

So, I put an error catch, that, if the poster has no valid userid it won't add it at all.

After posting those, were you logged out?

And, could you open the HRC cookies file in a text editor and paste the contents in the thread stuck to the top of the forum please? It has no critical info that isn't encrypted, so pasting it won't be a security risk for you.

It's hard for me to judge stuff in this genre. I'm not really a fan of stuff like this. When I heard this one, I thought it had interesting rythymns in the vocals, a nice sound overall, and a good mix. As a born country boy, it's sometimes kind of tough for me to pick up on speech where someone is speaking quickly, so I wasn't sure if I heard your lyrics accurately or not, but what I heard I liked. I thought this one was more accessible than "West Coast" was.

Hey, thanks for listening tincan. I tend to listen and comment on lots of music here that definitely wouldn't be my first choice of listening either, so I know what you mean. All feedback is welcome, for sure. Though, I am most interested in the plus/minuses of the mix, overall sound quality. Thanks again.

its got a real smooth grove to it. like tincan, its not what im used to, but i can appreciate it.

the lyrics are good and the mix isnt bad. i think id raise the drums or use a sound for the snare that snaps a little more.

i like how you branch out from the genre a bit and use some different sounds.

the vox at the end are very cool. good use of effects. keep it coming man.
