Keep a cord handy by your amp for emergency use when gigging for when your wireless has problems, and it WILL have problems.

And never use it for recording.

Aye...I had thought not to use for recording. Its more for messin roond the house - so I dinny have wires everywhere!

I am hoping to finish around a dozen songs by the end of the summer and get gigging early next year (after I buy maself a wee PA too!!).

Always be prepared tae - good advice. I usually have loadsa everything in spare - except strings!! Doh!

Cheers DB

Ive had an Audio Technica Dynamic Mic for some time now, and my friend Dave uses Audio-Technica's for all of his studio work. Mine works well live, built tough, does its job. Audio-Technica makes quality stuff, from what i know, But ive never used their wireless systems.

I tried a couple of AT wireless systems for my bass and returned them. Shure systems would get my buck if I were to go that way. I have decided to stay on a cord for the type of performing I do. And ditto per dB. Not for recording.

Cheers guys..

Bought the guitar wireless the other day and tis fine. It seems to do the job I need with a 200ft radius! Canny be bad...its for the gigs I plan and I will be taking backup leads "just in case".

I WONT be using for recording tho...thats for sure.

Ta for your input guys.

Coco.
