I have been using 3 of these Behringer units in my system for almost 4 years. For the last 3 months I have been working to connect their MIDI ports up to my music server and run the Behringer "Design" software (a nice GUI control package specifically for the 8024). However, it won't run on my XP jukebox music server (Behringer says the Design program was developed under Windows 98 and "has a problem" running on XP). It appears the MIDI layer is the problem.
I tried it on a '98 machine and it works, but for various technical reasons I can't convert my jukebox to '98.
Has anyone dealt with this before, know someone who has, or have any suggestions? I would really appreciate any leads.

Thank you for the tip. I did check out the link but found the same info my Behringer dealer told me: Behringer considers the DSP 8024 to be discontinued (a couple of months ago) and they are not interested in updating the DESIGN software just to support the few folks out there that want to run it on XP.
Sounds like a hacker project to fix the software is one possibility. Anyone interested in a joint effort?
