I use fruity loops to make my beats, but recently have tried using MIDI.

My midi keyboard will work for a sample if it is selected in the sequencer. I then open the channel settings of that particular sample and route it to an efx channel. I'm trying to use the sounds of the native instrumnet Pro-52. So in that particular efx channel, I select the native instruments Pro-52 VSTi. I can get the instrument to open, but the midi won't work for it as also it won't play the sound. How do I to incorporate the native instruments into fruity.

Oh yeah, by the way, if I touch a note in the keyboard of the Pro-52 VSTi, it plays the note and instrument. So how do I make a note in fruity loops use a Pro-52 VSTi sound?

NOt sure how it works in Fruity but ususally you must tell the midi track which channel it is to send the notes to. Meaning you need to tell it to send the midi info to the channel that the Pro-52 is on. It should come up as a port selection.

Yes, I figured it out. I posted the solution in another thread.
