The most avid fan on the planet

Okay, this is quite impressive...

There is a swedish band by the name of Meshuggah playing in London on the 27th of June, and being in London I thought "oh yay! I'll go to that!"... then I thought "crap, I'll have no-one to go with"...

My friend in Australia is one of the most avid Meshuggah fans - I think on the planet.. He said he'd come.

So, he's flying up a few days prior to the gig, staying with me in my woeful share-house accomodation.

I recon that's quite impressive... the travel expenses will all amount to over 2 grand AUD...

That's a two thousand dollar meshuggah ticket.

Destroy, erase, improve, Contradictions Collapse or chaosphere. I think Fredrik Thordendal only did one solo effort, "Sol Niger Within" in 1997.

i'd say that either Destroy, erase, improve or chaosphere are their best. not so keen on Contradictions Collapse.

I'd go for 'None' or 'Destroy Erase Improve' if you're going to mesh albums...

Definitely check out Sol Niger Within, and laugh at the length of the track names....

Here's the name of the first track of the album:

"Fredrik Thordendal's Special Defects - Sol Niger Within v 3.33 - The Beginning Of The End Of Extraction (Evolutional Slow Down)"

Sheesh...

Oh, also check out Fredrik's AWESOME solo on the song "asphyxiate" by Scarve....

Unknown forces, is that the video where they are on their tour bus lip syncing their own music?? Great video if that's the one I'm thinking of.

Yeah, New Millenium Cyanide Christ is the video. Hilarious! especially the antics of Tomas Haake (the drummer) towards the end of the video.
It is on my webspace but i'm having problems with the server today, will post a link when it picks up
