Need some help on value of a M-Audio Delta 1010

Just bought a Delta 1010 off of ebay. And of course, another seller who says the item is in excellent condition but it's the total opposite. The thing looks like someone changed their oil the same time they packed up my Delta. So, I'm wanting some input on how much this Delta would be worth. Here's the condition it's in:

- NO DRIVERS, SOFTWARE of any type.

- It has been repaired by M-Audio before. I know this because they were stupid enough to leave the repair invoice in the box. Repairs are like new transisters, etc.

- It is scratched up a bunch along with finger prints that looks like oil.

- Data link cable looks like it's been in dirt it's whole life.

So, how much you think it's worth?

gawd. used in very good condition it's worth about $500. but yours sounds like it's hardly in good condition.

i'd be afraid to power anything up that looks like it's got oil all over it :O|

Well drivers can be downloaded, but if the thing is in poor shape and lloks to have been abuse I would guess less then $200.00. I know they can be had here at the local used gear shop for $250.00 give or take a bit in good condition with all the cords and software and manual.

Yeah, some folks take your money and then just disappear.

Well, hopefully they'll refund the money after I send them the Delta back. If not, my credit card company might help me that I used to pay for this.

Ebay is great to find stuff that I can't find used around here for audio equipment. But dag-on-it, they will screw you over in a heart beat sometimes.
