If you're a fan of graphic novels for adults (I don't mean x-rated, I mean written for adults) you have got to check out this site: www.e-sheep.com

All the stories are really amazing, but the story called "The Spiders" is an absolutely groundbreaking concept in both story and art. Long story short: it's a modern-day alternate history of the Afghanistan conflict. You see, there are these robot spiders... only they're controlled by human users as a kind of hobby, through Spidernet, which is like a website built to be a remote spider interface and instant messenger program... the spiders are everywhere... umm...well, you just have to read it. Interesting social commentary, if you read between the lines. Storyline aside, anyone with even a slight interest in web design should see how the artist uses various tools to design elaborate pages of a storyline in graphical form, incorporating animation, killer art, and a really first-rate story to boot.
