Hey Guys, I need some help. Ive got a stereo compressor hooked up to the Aux on my mixer. I dont know how the whole Pre and Post thing works. I am there just turning knobs not knowing if they are compressing the channel or not. Can someone explain to me how it works and how it should be hooked up? Maybe I have it hooked up wrong. Help, Help, Help.... Thanks

There is an article in our tips called "Anatomy of a Mixer" that explains it. Pre means it is sent before the fader, post means after the fader. So using Pre your fader adjustments have no control over the signal going to the unit.
