Alright, after hotmail redesigned there interface I can't get it to work on my computer, It will work on almost any other computer i try, but when i get back home it won't work. THe site will open, and I'll be able to get to my inbox but once there nothing happens. I'll click on stuff and nothing will happen, or it'll say javascript error so and so. I tried deleting the cookies but that helped none.

Do you have Java enabled in your internet preferances/options?

If Hotmail uses Java I'd be shocked, considering Microsoft and Sun don't exactly get along too well. That said, if you are on Windows XP, to use anything that has Java you need to go to java.sun.com and download the JavaVM, because as of XP, the Java VM is not installed with Windows.

Sun took MS to court to force them to un-attach IE from the OS and various other things, they won so MS did that and ALSO unattached Java in the mean time just to stick it to Sun for screwing with them. SO us endusers have to download and instal Java ourselves. That what I had to do to get Scottrade's streamer working.

my god, that explains SOOOO much about my browser's behavior since I installed XP. I thought that I'd royally screwed something up!

Ya, it's a pain in the butt, here's the link to the VM java.com/en/index.jsp

Honestly, I don't blame MS for doing it though, I woulda too.

I went throught the same with the boys box. They go to a couple of sites that have chat enabled games, and they all run on Java. And their new box of course didnt have VM on it so that was the fix, going to Sun and getting the Java download. but it still has issues with a couple of the games they play. But only on their box running the Java from Sun not the otheres running VM from Microsoft.
