Aug 09, 2002 08:31 am Does your PC have a lot of other processes going on? Like anti-virus apps or things of that nature?
Since you are using SoundFonts I assume you are using a SoundBlaster, is that true? Is it only through the trinity that you have the delay?
Aug 09, 2002 08:39 am yeah i am using soundblaster live value and
i'm recording using sonar xl with a 900mhz celeron. it happens frequently on the trinity
compared to using a computer kybd.

Aug 12, 2002 08:49 pm It sound's like you have a midi echo problem. Are you using the midi in on the SB live, or do you have a seperate midi interface?
As dB said, if you have certain other app's running, this can cause a problem too. Usually it is something in the midi port assignment in the app itself. You need to make sure you have the propper port assigned in Sonar. Make sure you are not using the midi mapper as your out port!!!
