c-html?

im looking at buying a blackberry (a mobile emial device)...which claims to support WAP and c-html sites

i know what wap is, but whats chtml? will i be able to view hrc with it? cos if not, im not bothering...

also, before anyone mentions it, i know that i should know, what with being a mobile phone saleman, but we dont sell these...

And no, HRC is not chtml, and I don't think dB has set up a WAP enabled system.

No, I have nointentions of geting into WAP, however, an AvantGo version of HRC is on the radar...not in site, but on the radar...

I know what dhtml is but not c html... I think it's like a watered down version of html but that's about all i can remember.

it is a watered down version for use with things like phones, pda's and other non-pc type internet accessible stuffs.

Same tags, to an extent. The RFC with a full list of supported tags are listed above.

C-html stands for 'Compact' html

ive just got myself a palm m515...which is meant to be able to handle real internet...if not, im not worried cos ive just , kinda, ermm, borrowed it from work...

but i gotta download the software and have a play with it, see what it can do. ive got it synched up with my mobile, so ive got a modem at least - just need the browser now...
