Is there any differance between these two cards besides the rack unit?

Sep 30, 2003 11:49 am but the LT still has the 8 analog ins and outs and SPDIF ins and outs? All I'm concerned about is having the 8 ins and outs heh.

Oct 01, 2003 05:06 pm Yes it does, but here is the differance. The LT has 10 channels of i/o split up this way. 2 on balanced female XLR, 7 on unbalanced gold RCA, 2 s/pdif. It also has 1 port midi i/o, and word clock on BNC connecters. The XLR connecters are the only ones with Pres on them.
The regular 1010 has 8 channels of audio i/o all on 1/4" balance or unbalanced TRS, and 2 channels of s/pdif i/o. As well as the wordclock outputs and midi i/o. It is a bit more versatile connection wise then the LT as the LT only has about 12" of cable which is connected directly to the PCI card on the back of you computer, making it kinda hard to get at.
