anyone know how to do this? i haavent gotten around to learning it because i havent needed it till now. can't figure out how to do this:
i have a song, intro, verse, bridge, chorus. it sits square on the beats/measures. and now i want to repeat those three sections, from measure 6 to, let's say measure 30. a problem seems to be that i can never get those little blue markers--the punch in/out markers or active area markers or whatever they are--to sit right on a measure. i always just drag them manusally. i don't think they have snap ability like the cursor (do they?) i need cubase to do what i used to tell my 8-track to do: copy measures 6 through the end of 29. you know, and have it be exact. anyone know this procedure?
thanks

Aug 03, 2003 02:37 pm and if that fails.. i hope Cubase has sample accurate selection for copy n paste. even my old Cakewalk 9 does that.
Aug 03, 2003 03:29 pm oh, so that's what that is :)
thanks jues, i just realized that i'd been carrying around a small kernel of dread about the possibility that those markers weren't snap-able. gone now.

Aug 03, 2003 06:48 pm i know i know...i hadn't gotten to snapping yet. i have never used snap, haha. i knew the cursor would snap, but these recording markers are new to me!
i thought maybe there was a way to send the recording markers to the CURSOR. i thought it was some weird process.
