making cables

i know that people were talking about this at one point, but i'm looking to start making cables for myself and my band. is there a good place to shop online for top-quality connectors and cable?

i dunno... i just bought 100' of balanced cable off ebay for $23, sounded like a good deal bought 4 quality TRS jacks or another $12. i'm gonnna cut the cable in half and make two 50' lines. i'll tell you how they turn out if the cable ever gets here

beats me... personally i love auctions, i like to go to real public sales, but i can understand any unease people have with them.

jeez, looked at that site, that Monster brand cable is expensive. I have some of their RCAs and they're just awesome, the cable is as thick as one of my fingers!
