Apex preamps

What do you guys think of the Apex preamp for sale on E Bay for $35? I've never heard of this company before.Would they be noisy as hell because they are so cheap?

Apex, they also make VCR's, DVD players and other very low-end consumer gear...I wouldn't get my hopes up to high, though I have never heard them myself.

"Apex" is always (or often) the brand of the super low priced stuff that big-box stores use to pull ya in...

heh... DVD players for $40, saw 'em at wal-mart
