Changing a bridge on a mandolin?

So, I found a near mint condition Fender Mandolin, acoustic electric, at a pawn shop in the area...the only thing that keeps it from being mint is a cracked bridge...otherwise, beautiful, not even a scratch...when I pointed out the crack they dropped the price a lot...I found a replacement bridge for $22...I am seriously considering buying it for uber cheap and fixing it with that bridge.

Has another changed a bridge like that before? Is it hard? It looks like it's probably pretty easy once the archtop is filed to the right curvature.

Do you have any luthiers around you? I would probably do that than do it myself, but that's just me. Or you could take it to the guitar Wal Mart and have them do it. That way if they break it, they are responsible. If it's still playable, just leave it?

From my research it seem pretty easy to do it...it's not playable as is, but I may bring in a couple little washers to slide under the bridge piece to see if that will brace it up high enough to play. As is it rides on some frets in the middle pairs.

I do have a luthier in the Lodge though, might be worth hitting him up before doing anything myself.
