Acid pro 7 recording?

I've been trying to use acid pro 7 to record my vinyl collection, and i'm unable to hear the audio while it's being recorded.
I saw someone with the same problem on a different forum, and an op answered with some screenshots and saying to double click "arm record" and you will see 2 speaker icons, and then you should hear the audio while recording.Well i tried this and i don't get any speaker icons, and still no sound when recording.
Would be grateful for any help with this problem.

Look in the quick start guide and under "Routing" in the manual.

Otherwise - Knowing the rest of your chain would help - A lot.

Hi,I can't seem to find a fix for this in the manual anywhere, here's a screen shot. As you can see in the left hand corner it's only showing the input channel, there lies the problem.
I've clicked everything in the software to enabled and disabled turned on and off and i think i've exhausted all avenue

What's in the chain? What interface are you using and what sort of driver set (ASIO, WDM, etc.) is being used by the interface?

Hi MM,The driver set i think is "Windows classic wave driver" in the preference tab there are two other choices which are "Direct sound surround mapper" and "Microsoft sound mapper".I've tried the other two choices, but still no audio when recording.
I'm useing Windows 7 home premium 32 bit/ati Radeon HD 4300/4500 Series/4gb ram/64x2 dual core processor.
I have an hdmi connection from my graphics card which carries the audio and video signal.
As a test i've tried Adobe Audition and Audacity and both play the audio when recording.
