Best to cut and paste, then if it be no good, then yarp, could be a problem somewhere.
Dont stress too much tho, this stuff can happen, should be easy enough to get sorted out.

I purchased a usb sound box from presonus and with it came studio artist software but when i tried to register it it says invalid key. Does this happen with any of you or there is something wrong?

Jun 18, 2011 09:32 pm No cutting and pasting, I have a DVD which came along sound card. I typed absolutely correctly. I have informed them. I did retyped it four times as i wanted to confirm that i was right. Now is that Retyping a problem? Thank you

Its not about whether you type it correctly or not, thats just how its done.
End of the day you do what works, for whatever reason.
I also recommened thoroughly reading the install instructions and follow them, without deviation whatsoever.
Its highly unlikely there is anything wrong with the software.
Jun 18, 2011 10:21 pm SOme companies are stupid with keys, leaving us to determine if it's a zero or an o, and depending on the font, lower case l and 1 can look similar, some have dashes you have to put in or not put in...argh.
Just call support and ask them.

I had purchased a presonus usb soundbox sound card. There was a software in that named as studioone artist. I was under impression that this not just a demo version. But it has turned out tobe the same and i feel i am duped. In your presonus site it is mentioned that this is a full version of studio one artist where as what i have is only a demo version of no use to me. Please clarify.I feel there is something wrong with the reseller.

He'll get it sussed out with their support, it just may take a day or two. If it was bought legitimately, it'll work out.

Where did you buy this Kiran? Sometimes there are deals online that look too good to be true and unfortunately are...I had the same confusion recently :(

I still suspect there is something wrong.Let us see now i have contacted the incharge of presonus in India.I liked this software so much and that is why i am continuing this matter.I was also told that i could update from this version to pro which woud have been much cheaper. Or order the disc/s.
Trying to save money too much usually costs you more in the end.
Jun 21, 2011 10:14 pm Finally i got another key from the indian presonous head office.It worked perfectly and opened the software.The shop from where i got this was always telling me that it is a demo version. When i contacted the chief he understood it and sent me a key which worked.Thank you for reading my things on this forum.
The presonous America has asked for original receipt which i will send and find out if there is some foul play in this.
