Hi all,
I'm writing score to the short film in a way like it was done in a young Hollywood years, that is Mickey Mouse or Tom and Jerry music, which was mimicking events on the screen. The thing is I'm tired of checking where each phrase starts and ends in terms of seconds and their smaller parts, because I can't load video file to Reaper.
Do You know any DAW or maybe vst that allows to write and record music having video opened as one of the tracks?

Jun 17, 2011 07:34 am Nuendo is suppose to be built for this, Cubase also allows it, but its capabilities are not as extensive from what I've heard.
Final Cut, which is a video editing program, has some audio faculties

Jun 17, 2011 10:04 am I've done some sync work with PT9, and enjoyed it. I imagine that you would benefit from the sibelius/midi integration and the automatic video/audio synch capability in PT 9.
