I have made a computer specially for home recording purpose.I get a constant speed audio like a metronome in my speakers and it als goes in to recordings too The rate is almost 60 beats per minutes. I tried trouble shooting with windows but with no effect. The sound is even registered on the volume control s of the recorder side visual window.( fader window). How to remove these sounds? Pl help

When main volume of the speakers is zero then there is no sound but it still comes in recording tracks.

When i click on any icon then also some sound like chi pir comes thr. the speakers

What recording software are you using? It could be drivers or it could be some app running in the background in Windows. I suggested this in another post.... but perhaps something you'll want to try. Disable your network adapter card (or NIC). On my own system, I get some interference when my wireless card is enabled because lots of apps that communicate to the web are doing background checks for updates and what-not. If not the network card, try disabling/killing some of the processes running in Task Manager.

By the time this answer has come the ticking noise has compltely gone and i do not know what happened but still some hissing noise comes at a75% volume. It is tolerable in recorded song. I will try testing sound card and i will surly try stopping my net.
Thanks a lot.

This sound seems to trouble me, it has come again. I tried to change speakers too. Even if i remove the speakers there is a front indicator LED which blinks at the same rate. Whenever i point to any icon and click it makes a sound like chir pir or something like that.I donot know what to do now. My engineer is sick so i will have to wait till that time. I am using Acoustica mixcraft,Presonus demo and sonarx1 demo softwares.Even if i am not running any programs the sound of 60 cycles per second is still there.

Hello
I have found one solution and cause of the problem. The front input connection of the mic is very sensitive and when i put some low impidence mike in it this devilish sound stops compltely. That means the front mic in acts as a mic when nothing is put in that. Then it picksup the noise from the computer. Now i will have to find out the source of the noise.
