Hey guys, been busy at work since the beginning of March on a new project I'm calling "On the 88". It seems to be progressing very well, with me banging out 4 tracks in a little over a month, I'm trying to have a full length ready for the summertime. The style is chillwave (a new pseudo genre that sprang up in 09) similar to artist like Washed Out, Toro y Moi, and Neon Indian. I'd love all your guys' opinions on the production of a couple of tracks, so I thought I'd post this up:

This is two songs that flow into each other. Thanks for taking the time guys, I await your feedback.

The youtube video is there. Sounds good, although I'm at work listening through laptop speakers. I think I could get into this stuff.

Thats so weird, its just coming up as an empty little box on my browser.

Hmm... I think they mustve slipped in while I was making the video on windows movie maker. Perhaps I left an effect on, not really sure.

Sounds pretty good to me. Mix seems well balanced (well as much as it can be after going through youtube lol)

Anyhoo, I like the use of compression as an effect here to get that pumping vibe going. Fits well with the genre I think.

That's my .02 at least =]
