Hey guys, been busy at work since the beginning of March on a new project I'm calling "On the 88". It seems to be progressing very well, with me banging out 4 tracks in a little over a month, I'm trying to have a full length ready for the summertime. The style is chillwave (a new pseudo genre that sprang up in 09) similar to artist like Washed Out, Toro y Moi, and Neon Indian. I'd love all your guys' opinions on the production of a couple of tracks, so I thought I'd post this up:

Apr 08, 2011 03:12 am Tried posting up the youtube link but this stupid little empty box just keeps popping up, so I try to upload the songs here, and it won't because it says something about another file already has the name of my song and it can't upload SHH****TT!!

Hmm... I think they mustve slipped in while I was making the video on windows movie maker. Perhaps I left an effect on, not really sure.

Anyhoo, I like the use of compression as an effect here to get that pumping vibe going. Fits well with the genre I think.
