Recording an accoustic guitar duo tomorrow and one of the artists mentioned that he has an input jack on his guitar and plans on using FX pedals. Do I need anything besides cables to run that to the board? Thanks.

Mar 09, 2011 01:51 pm should be fine, wat fx does he plan on using, if they are built for acoustics they r probably DIs in a way already.
Mar 09, 2011 01:55 pm In my mind it would depend on what FX he is running...if not micing a cabinet, you'd at least want some sort of speaker/mic/room modeling or simulation of some sort to add some spacial qualities to the sound or it may record as a very sterile, icky sound.
