hey everyone,
I need to free up some latency for Cubase LE4 on my PC(laptop) so that i avoid the crackling sound that i get every now and then when i playback my recordings/compositions. Cubase LE4 tells me im recording @ Rec: 44100Hz - 24Bit - Max:397h 38min - 30 fps - Pan:Equal Power. I am running the program on Windows 7 with 4 gigs of ram.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Mar 02, 2011 08:13 am To "dB Masters": I am currently using the M-Audio Fast Track Pro interface(ASIO driver). Ive found a control panel for my interfaces latency, but if i change it will i mess something up?? Id rather not try before knowing wether or not it will cause damage to either my system or the interface.
And to "Dematrix": my primary concern is for live performances. I am a drummer and I just recently had the idea of listening to the tracks(our songs Imported into CubaseLE4) with a click track over top for speed ups. It realy helps me keep on tempo but every now and then i get the crackling and stuttering on the track. So to answer your question, i am only running one track at a time with the click over top(with no VSTs and no FXs). All this will be outputted through my new "Alien Ears" in-ear monitors when practicing and playing live.
And thanks for the replies. Much appreciated guys.
