Hi , how can I get a fat heavy sound recording on BR1600 without using mic/amp??? My friend told me that a SANSAMP PARA DRIVER combined with the GT6 (comes with the BR1600) would do the trick.... What should I do ... I need to make my stuff more alive without expend lots of money , need something for bass, guitar , td9 roland drums , synths and Keyboard ??? There is anything that could help me on this , I like the effects on BR1600 but to play some heavier stuff I would like a warmer and fat sound... anyone ???

Ever loked into a Line 6 UX1? When dialed in right, Line 6 modeling can get some VERY heavy sounds...and has models for guitar, bass and even some vocal preamp models...get the Line 6 KB37 and it has all that and a 37 key MIDI controller.

Hey brother thank you for the fast answer !!!!!!

Well ... the BR1600 have the BOSS GT 6 on it , also BASS AMP modeling and VOCAL TOOLS/EFECTS ... and I like what I heard , just wanna make the sound of my guitar/bass more like close to a AMP +MIC combination ... I don't wanna spend more money and find out that I had what I need but didn't know how to use it.
What you think about "how better the 6UX1" is in comparation with the build-in BOSS GT6 I have , plus I wanna know if the SANSAMP PARA DRIVER sound good with the distortions from the BOSS GT6.

I have used the Boss GT6, and it does have some pretty good sounds, which you can likely accomplish with the right time and effort, the Line 6, what I like that many modelers don't have is mic and speaker modeling as well that has a surprising impact on the sound. It also has a nice software interface to model mic distances from the speaker and creates the proper ambience/room sound accordingly.

That being said, with the right use of reverb, delay or other spacial effects you can likely do much of the same, it just may take longer to fiddle with.

Off the top of my head I can't comment on the 64bit business, but hey, if a download didn't finish, try it again!

I have the KB37, it's awesome.

DB MASTERS thank you very much for your answers and also for your pacience ... I had another question about the KRK 8 monitors and a guy ask me to move out of the wall ... guess what ??? I don't need the line 6 anymore , all my guitars sound killer now and the GT6 its just great the way it is. Again thank you for your help , I guess I should change my set-up before trying add more stuff , I'm the happiest guy right now ... I love this forum and I hope you guys won't get tired of my ignorance.
AGAIN THANK YOU BROTHER !!!!!!!!!!!

yeah this place is truly somethin' special when it comes to the art of beeing a home recordists....i've gone from newb, to pro, and am now a happy hobbyist in the 7 years i've been hangin' out here. stick around and try to help others as much as you can because the best way to learn something is to teach it...and by golly those who know me well here know i love pointing ppl in the right direction, and that exercise alone has taught me 90% of what i know about recording.

welcome to HRC!
