Hey all, once again this is a strictly composition post, rough mix recorded during practice(messups and all) so our singer can practice ideas. During the bridge she repeats a part over and over, we have added more lyrics to that part and it is no longer repetetive.

Other than that, your thoughts please. I'm pretty stoked on this one and am curious if you fine folks can offer any suggestions to make it all it can be.

Thanks all,

Is called "Right Again" and is under my profile.

Only listening to my crap monitors right now and I can't even turn them up so I'm not going to begin to critique... However! You might want to check out this band from Vancouver.... might make for great reference material.... this song reminds me of Mother Mother

Me likey,
If your after any compostion suggies, i would only say, during the verses, on one guitar try a shuffle rasping on the strings.

I dunno, that bit just screams shuffle to me, especially the way your singer is trying, knowingly or unknowingly to do there.
I was gonna suggest the shuffle on the snare but seems to be fairly cemented in drum piece going on there. Guitars would have the same effect.

Tell me to get stuffed tho if you want. happens all the time.

you know how you get a shuffle beat on the snare using brushes?

****, now im not even sure its a shuffle beat im thinking of, i know what im thinking of but dont know off hand what its called.

You know that song about the devil and the violinist where they have a violin duel? During the verses?
its like a hillbilly type beat on the snare only.

im pretty sure its a shuffle.

I listened to this and had some thoughts, but will listen again in a day or two when I have more time and leave some feedback.

I like the drum pattern on the intro alot. Actually I think the song has a lot of promise. My main comment is that the lead guitar part during the verse is very repetitive, and after 8 bars of it, I really wanted it to change. Everything else I pretty much think sounds really good composition wise. I really like the change of pace on the bridge. So, I'm sorry I don't have any suggestions what to change it to.... but I'm sure you guys could mess with it if you agree at all.

hmmmm, the other guitar does this thing during the intro that I don't think fits as it lacks power right when it needs it (a big bang when the guitars come in after drum intro). Perhaps if he takes that intro part and does it during 4 of the 8 it could help the monotony while also helping the intro be more powerfull. Thanks for the listen as always Coolo.

And Dematrix, that was just way to deep for me to fathom. I understand a few things, but some things are just things ;) lol
