I found something really cool browsing the web tonight. Would posting a link come into friction with forum rules, as this thing might be useful for us homerecordists?

Jun 29, 2002 08:56 pm I am an idiot, there's nothing in the rules about posting links. Here it is:
ic.net/~jtgale/diy2.htm
Now everybody go and build yourself a basstrap or two:)

Jul 01, 2002 12:26 pm where does it go...over a bass rig or what?
Jul 01, 2002 08:27 pm wherever you have excessive bass bouncing around being a pest, by the cab, in the corners (prime bass breeding space) or wherever you need it...

Jul 01, 2002 11:22 pm Right, the corner's are the biggest culprit. what the really are is a bass trap, and they do just what it sound's like they do. They trap the excess bass that like dB said, is bouncing around the room uncontrolled.
