Suck when you're nailing an awesome vocal track and they come in to the room to ask you to stop singing so loud, when you're not. Ruined the track and put me in a bad mood. Stupid light sleepers.

Nov 05, 2010 09:26 am Don't even get me started! I just evicted a house-mate of mine for getting into a drunken brawl with my bass player. Bass-guy took 10-stitches to his face as a result of a full 24oz beer can being launched into it. Nothing like a trip to the hospital at 1am to make you realize you've been drinking with/living with the wrong person.

Nov 06, 2010 02:37 pm Hue, that is awful!
Loki, I don't even like to record when anyone else is in the house due to my self consciousness about bothering them... as I tend to be pretty loud with the vocals.

Nov 08, 2010 10:01 am Yeah, the guy was a long-known family friend, too... a real disappointment, to say the least. Bass-guy is ok though! He's still the best lookin' guy in the band. haha
Oh, and yeah Jim... wives! heh
One time(years ago), my better-half walked into the rehearsal room demanding my attention, and she yelled 'STOP' at the exact moment we were to actually stop playing the song... ever since then, she thinks she's had the magical ability to walk into rehearsal, in the middle of a song, and get my attention this way. It can be pretty dang funny when it just 'doesn't work'!
