I have just bought a Behringer Xenyx 1204 to record podcasts, I have windows 7 which apparantly Behringer were unprepared for? (from what I've gathered after hours of trying to get this thing to work) I've installed the USB driver from the disk supplied only to realise it is not compatible with Windows 7 I don't know what to do now, I don't know how to got the computer to Recognise the Mixing desk, everything I read seems to be in a language I don't understand involving Codecs and ASIO's... Please can someone help me make this work?

You will need an ASIO driver that is likely included on a disc in the package. You should really spend some time with a manual before asking for help. If you don't read the manual, we would need to in order to answer your question. In conclusion:

Behringer's website has Windows 7 drivers on the Xenyx 1204 product page:

www.behringer.com/EN/Products/1204FX.aspx

Look under "Software".
