Aug 06, 2010 12:10 pm So I listened to this yesterday. I liked the intro as I was not expecting it to rock out and it suprised me which is a good thing. I think everything sounds nice and clean but I would love to hear vocals on it.

Aug 09, 2010 04:34 pm Everything is certainly clean and rockin. I would like to hear the drums a bit louder in the mix compared to the guitar. I definitely like the music though, and I'm not much into rock.
Aug 15, 2010 01:43 pm Tend to agree with coolo - drums need to be more prominent, they kind of get lost in the mix.
I like the tone you've got going on the lead guitar in the "heavy" parts of the song.
I'm listening to this on speakers that aren't well-designed for the purpose, but I also would like to see the bass a bit more prominent and isolated. It seems very quiet and non-EQd.
Overall this is really good though...kinda like an intro song to one of those extreme documentaries. :)

Jan 13, 2012 03:16 am Dear Friends,
Hope you all doin great
some time ago I posted a instrumental mix and received lots of kind comments from you
I decided to completely rerecord and remix that track and see what happens
I think it turned out really good, BUT as much as I rely on myself I need your opinion too
I uploaded both newmix and oldmix for you to compare:

hope you take a listen if you have a minute and critique/comment
Thanks a lot in advance
P.S. I plan to participate in a local guitar instrumental competition with this track so I need it to sound good :)
Jan 14, 2012 06:43 pm Hey man, good job on the song. Not my usual style of rock but hey, as long as it rocks I'm down! There is a definite improvement from the old mix to the new one. Instead of trying to offer mix critiques, could I just have a swing at the whole mix? I'll tell you in detail what I did if it helps. I understand if you don't wanna.
