Whenever im trying to record vocals in Fl Studio things get a little crazy... When i go to select my mic input i get a very loud static'y , distortion sound coming from the speakers, and its weird because it was working fine before.. I researched this problem and i believe i seen someone that had the same problem and they said the solution was to "mute the Stereo Mix input" or something like that.. i dont remember unmuting anything (maybe i did and didnt notice or something) so im not sure why it just started doing this or how i would go about muting it again.

I havent had a chance to get to my equipment to try this out or look around for the Stereo mix input so i can mute it, i figured i would come to you guys first.. youve always pointed in the right direction!! :)

I dont believe its the mic or the interface because it does this even when the mic is unplugged or i use a different mic.. it also isnt FL Studio because i get the same results in ACID.
