Evening all, I have a beautiful BR 1600 and have made some great stuff on it. However, I recently recorded a live gig we did and it took approx 120 mins. it was recorded as 'one song' on the night. I have managed to put 'markers' between the songs but cannot for the life of me get it onto a disc, chop them up into disc sized pieces or create enough room on the hard disc to convert the file and transfer onto computer via usb for cd creation. is there any one out there you can help? cheers

Man that sucks. I don't know anything about that unit, hopefully someone else does. I was going to suggest finding someone else with a recording rig and using the direct outs into their rig, but there aren't any on the BR 1600.

The only option I can think of is creating a mix on the BR 1600 and recording the stereo mix using the digital or analog outs with another rig... If you wanted to mix with another rig I guess you could output/record 2 tracks at a time using the digital or analog outputs, soloing what you want to transfer from the BR and recording them with another rig, but that would take about 8 hours to do, since you have 120mins of audio @ 8 tracks.

Good luck, hopefully there's an easier way.

ha ha.

I have a saxophone player that gonna trade me a feature to show him how to use his br 16000. I've never used one but I'm quite well with the hardware and he is quite well with the sax. So i just said yes. I'll come back tomorrow and see if i figured out your question
