After 10 of the longest weeks ever - Ty Lashbrook personally delivered the new kids.

Eh, if it doesn't work, I have new photos on the aptly named "Photos" page... www.massivemastering.com/html/photos.html

They're freaking me out a little at this point... I haven't had to break in a set of monitors in 10 years. And I haven't changed monitors since '05. It's very obvious that these things are more than capable - But it's taking some time to hear what they're trying to tell me...

I can hear them from here. They're saying " send me to pjk's house "

Ha! I'd probably just play nickelback or evanascence through them =).

Very NICE! Congrats.

What you need are some NS10's. My friend has them and they're the best. Heaps of sick bass and real flat frequency response for mastering.

Look great though. Love the amp on your pictures page. Blue lights ftw.

Well they certainly look impressive. Hope they sound as such too. ;) Seriously, I hope they treat your ears well. Have fun breaking 'em in!

On a side note, the desk reminds me of an Argosy desk I want to get someday if/when I ever manage to have a large enough space (not to mention the funds).

Dude - One of the only problems with these things is that I had a small array of blue LED's that came from under the 802's (they were on Sound Anchor stands with about 1-1/2" clearance) so there was always this mysterious blue glow going across the floor.

No room under these puppies for such amazingness.

But hells yeah to the blue LED's. Gotta figure out what to do with them... Maybe under the desk...

I think you should install them in a pair of favorite sneakers...

Gotta own the light if you wanna own the night...

Ugh... I freaking love every circuit that Dave Hill ever designed for Crane Song. But those damn knobs... I'm assuming he wanted to distance himself from all of the Summit stuff.

I ended up having him ship me a few spares to put on the SS-oweL just so I could take a picture of it and send it to him. But then I kept them on anyway.

Brad Blackwood (Euphonic Masters) swapped all his out for black knobs of the same mfg. It's nice - but it actually loses something. Maybe maroon or something along those lines... But that would look "too Summit" I guess...

Or I'll just leave them alone and ignore the ugly knobs. :-/

Whoo hoo! The bases shipped today. Figured the center section was about 4" too low in the first place (and I was right).

The guy freaking rocks - Hand-made custom bases for the speakers - No charge - That's customer service to an extreme...

The bases are in, the boxes are now 73.5" with a .67" tilt front to back. Only a degree or so - But made all the difference in the world...

While you're enjoying your new monitors, I'll be shopping for a new computer keyboard. Mine just suffered some severe drool damage.
