Using M-Audio Oxygen 8 V2 as a vocoder in Cubase

Hey folks.

Need some help here.

I am running workshops at the college where I work for Secondary School pupils to show them some interesting things to do in regards to Music Tech.

I will be using Drumagog to change triggers from mics into drum sounds. This is easy enough.

I also want to create a little Vocoder sessions to engage the kids and I am wondering if I can record audio (say vocals) into Cubase and then patch the recording to one of the keys ont he keyboard. Then I can make chords etc out of the different pitches on the keyboard.

I fully understand the concept but has anyone did this before and can it be done quickly?

Help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers.
