i always thought it was my guitar's wiring, but today i bought i bass and used it with my mixer and heard the same high static noise.
its gotta be something with the mixer, any idea's?
ill put up a sample if need be, but i dont see how it will help much.. its static. full stop lol

You have a power overload using the DI into an xlr most likely.
