Going nuts w/ LEXICON OMEGA & COOL EDIT PRO

i've been going nuts with this omega/cool edit pro setup. ive changed something or god knows what and need help.

the buses are all different when im selecting on individual channels. it doesn't seem to be sending the right signal (lex) to software(comp/recording)?

i cant get the 4 channel simultaneous. over the past years ive used it and just sacrificed 2 channels using it as a 2 channel output.

i sat down recently and came across activating a driver in my "sound" in windows and all of a sudden it shows 'lexicon win 1/2' & ....2/3 respectively in device order.

im not sure what the "correct" order should be now. what bus selection on lexi to send to what corresponding channel?

if anyone can lay this out again for me to get me back from my own personal hell trying to record again id appreciate it. speak to me like i know notta. as now that ive messed with it i feel like ive gotten myself in deeper switching selections in the 'devices' etc.
