Hi Ryan

I like the song. I remember trying to create a song like this myself about 8 years ago lol you have done a far better job. Your track has a nice clear high end and sounds like it has been recorded well. I also like your use of panning. Coming through on my monitors with a wide stereo image.

There are some slight problems with the bass and mid frequencies on my system. It sounds like the two guitars are competing for the same mid-low frequencies which are causing a type of harmonic resonance. Basically it jumps out the mix a little. If you sort this out you will have a much fuller sound with greater clarity. There is also some slight distortion at points. Sounds like the peaks of the audio are just flattening off a little too much. Improve the head room of the mix down to reduce this.

If you are interested I have just started to offer 40% off to customer that allow me to put their tracks on my website as a preview of my work. So if you want me to mix & some of your songs you can have 40% off plus you will receive free promotion on my blot, website, Myspace, Facebook and twitter.

Had a look at your Myspace too. Like the “ihaveadream” track. Very poignant.

Very cool! What sort of reverb are you using on the guitar? I like it a lot!

Thank you Lee, that's a lot of great information! How should i go about sorting out the guitars? do i just tweak the eq's so they aren't in the same frequency or should i carve one out?

and to the song use, go for it! i'd be happy to let you put it up there.
and thank you for your comments on the mlk song, the first guitar part was kind of just improvised while i heard the speech in the headphones and then i built off of that, i guess it's kind of similar to how dr. king's speech was part improvised and part rehearsed, anyways hahaa before i go off topic, thanks again.

and to quincy, thanks also! and the reverb is a combination of my friends guitar amp's (line 6 spider II) and this digitech multieffects pedal (255?). i don't actually own the guitar or amp i borrowed it so i wish i had a more exciting story for you but i just tweaked it to a sound i liked. i don't know if that helps haaha

Very cool song actually, I love the totally sonic destruction ending. I'm not listening on speakers worthy of mix suggestions but the composition is nice.
