Hello! Quick question,
Is there a way to quickly delete all of the files in my multitrack session list? I do not want to delete all of them, only the ones that I am not using, I'd like to clear them from the list as well as my computer as they are taking up space. How do I distinguish which files are in my session and which are not? I have far to many to start looking through individually.
Thanks!

Mar 03, 2010 05:26 pm Well, in reaper you click:
File -> Clean Current Project Directory
This gives you a dialog window, where you can select all files (these are not being used by the active project) and then delete.
Not sure what software you're using, so it's hard to say.

If you add some info on your current setup, then we can look there for an idea of what you're using.
Mar 03, 2010 06:28 pm lol, I should note that I'm using Adobe Audition. I'm retarded.
Mar 03, 2010 06:30 pm Thanks to recent political correctness, "retarded" is now "the r-word".
Mar 03, 2010 07:22 pm i clearly am "the r-word" -does anyone have any thoughts with my Audition Issue?
Mar 04, 2010 05:35 am Taking a lot of takes, I have ended up with a huge number of .wav files that I do not need. Does anyone know how to select these unused files out and deleting them?
Thanks!

Mar 04, 2010 01:39 pm Yup, there is no way to do it in audition that I know of. I personally purchased the software DB linked to and it works perfectly. A bummer that it requires extra software but I still love my Audition :)
